Schmitt – Herr Schmitt & die Pinots

German sparkling wine based on 60% Chardonnay, and 40% Pinot Noir. Made like a vintage Champagne, using the traditional method. Great bubble structure and acidity, lots of complexity, apple, pear, citrus, red currant, and elegant yet light touch of yeast and sourdough notes.

Kirchknopf – Chardonnay Ried Tatschler

Michael Kirchknopf’s single vineyard Chardonnay that does not has to be shy for a Burgundy comparison. Extreme complexity, ripe orchard and stone fruit, malolactic and creamy notes paired with incredible minerality and a beautiful full body style.

Frank John – Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir as true to the classic Burgundy principles as it can be, yet with a typical German touch. Lots of fresh red fruit, cherry, raspberry, raspberry, chocolate,  peppery, with nice touch of well-integrated used French oak.
